We needed to upgrade our daypack situation and did a lot of research. Ryan went with the men’s version (Talon 22) while I went with the female’s Tempest 20. Osprey has a Daylite one that is smaller for day hiking, but we wanted one a little larger to fit more for 4 season adventures. With Osprey’s anti-gravity back, it is more comfortable than ever and fits so naturally. I already have a camel back hydration pack and it fits perfectly in the separated hydration pack area. Then there is a main large compartment that can really fit a lot. There are also many small pockets through out, including on the hips (super nice!). There are also a spot to connect trekking poles, which works out wonderfully. Took it out for the first time this last weekend and so far so good. Osprey is known for their quality packs and I give it 5/5 stars.
